 All children in Years 1 to 6 enjoy a period of swimming during the year, when they have a weekly lesson at New Mills Leisure Centre.
In the 2006 New Mills Swimming Gala, Hague Bar came 2nd!
 School PE lessons take place in the yard, in the hall or in the garden, depending on the weather and the activity.
 During the summer term, the year 5 and 6 children catch the bus to New Mills High School playing fields on Quarry Road once a week for athletics and rounders.
 At Hague Bar, we try to participate in all inter-school sports meetings.
