Class 4 caught the bus to Hayfield to do a river study, continuing work from their geogrpahy topic.
As part of their work on the Victorians, Class 3 visited Quarry Bank Mill to discover what life was like for a young apprentice, and what changes were made during Queen Victoria's reign.
Our whole school trip in July 2005 was just around the corner to Lyme Park. We made kites and flew them - although it was a little too windy! We followed a treasure trail, made smell pots, played rounders and enjoyed a picnic lunch!
In July 2004 the whole school went on a trip to Llandudno in North Wales. We visited the copper mines, a working farm and played on the beach. It was all very good fun!
